Visitors & The Visalia Rawhide
We LOVED having family this past week!!! Mindy, Brooks, Wendy & all of our cute little cousins. The boys were in heaven! They left on Thursday, then Friday Night Ted & I hit a Rawhide game. They had been on a losing streak for the past 13 out of 15 games, so it was a good thing that we were there because they won. I believe they scored 8 runs, we are good luck:)

Michigan
Oh how we love Michigan! I actually believe California is quite green, until you fly back east. We were able to spend a week with Ted's family. While we were there we decided that we would buy a house on the lake & stay there forever. Then reality set in and we headed back west:)
Here are some of the events that took place:
Friday: Drove down to L.A. Stayed in the Embassy Suites with Ted's Hotel points.
Saturday: Flew out of LAX, a direct 4 hour flight to Detroit. Arrived in Detroit around 6pm happy to be with family.
Sunday: A wonderful Father's Day. Ted's mother spoke in church. Dinner with Ted's entire family. The boys gave their dad a remote control helicopter for Father's day-awesome.
Monday: Boating & swimming on the Lake. Family Pictures.
Tuesday: Drove up to Traverse City, Michigan to stay in the Great Wolf Lodge. It was amazing! Indoor waterpark, arcade.....
Wednesday: Half day at the waterpark, drove back to Ted's parents house.
Thursday: Our niece Sammy's birthday party & bowling.
Friday: Strength for Sammy Fundraiser. I was able to meet most of Ted's friends & their wives. When we walked into the restaurant, one of his buddies yelled over & over, "Ted Haubert is here." They give him a hard time because they haven't seen or heard from him in almost 12 years, but you could tell that they sure do love him.
Saturday: Ted re-living his soccer glory days @ an alumni fundraiser event. Our nephew Alex's birthday party & saw the much anticipated Cars 2.
Sunday: Flight Home
I loved staying up late every night visiting with Ted's family. The charity events we attended were very special & I really enjoyed meeting & visiting with Ted's good buddies, friends & extended family.
