President Hinckley

President Hinckley, our Prophet passed away yesterday. What an incredible example. For me, he was the Prophet of my time. I remember that my testimony of the gospel began to really grow when I was about 19- President Hinckley was the Prophet and I have always looked forward to listening to him speak, reading his books, and following him across the world. I can truly say I thank Thee O God for a Prophet.

Flip flops in January

Today, I actually did not wear my flip flops out to the park, but how wonderful that we can go outside to the park in January!!!
I was waiting for Hunter to come out of the slide @ the bottom, but instead he was just scoping things out:)

This monkey can scale up my pantry shelves.
He grabbed the marshmellow bag by the wrong end, (those were actually hidden). He knew he was in trouble & was picking them up as fast as he could & didn't even make eye contact with me until they were all back in the bag, except for the ones in his mouth.

My Boys

Jackson can get around pretty fast. I found him just looking out the window. He has his two bottom teeth & of course is still teething & has to put his mouth on everything. You can't really tell but he's knawing on this-yummy.
It used to take some work to get him down for a nap, happy to see he's figured it out on his own:)

This little guy loves to wrestle with our dog & is not even phased by the scratches--look at his stomach--ouch!

Oranges & Spin Class:)

I have a new found love for oranges! Now that we live in California it seems that you see orange trees everywhere. Our new neighbors leave bags of oranges on our front door step if we are not home. We are excited to plant our own orange tree very soon.Ted & I also love the gym. We have been attending spin class & love it, that doesn't mean we are good at it. Last night at class I felt my back "jiggle," that's not a good sign, so I better keep going to spin. The gym has childcare that we really like for the boys, so the gym is a family event & a blessing for us!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!! What a fun time we had bringing in the New Year. New Year's Eve we played games with some families in the ward and of course ate some delicious food! After we put the boys to bed, Ted & I made smores on the portable fire pit he received for Christmas. We enjoyed eating chocolate, making our new years resolutions and chatting!!! I love him, he is such a wonderful husband!!!
