Grateful

Ty & I flew to Utah a couple of weeks ago. It was quite refreshing. Ted played Mr. Mom Friday-Tuesday. He said there was a short window when he thought, "Hey, I could do this." Then that short window ended. I arrived home to roses, balloons, cards & sparkling cider. He must have really missed me.

Do not be deceived by this face! You should have seen Brayden trying to be helpful by rolling the dough into balls, rolling them in sugar & helping unwrap the hershey kisses. He doesn't appreciate when I try to help him, he really is Mr. Independent.:)

"Hello Mr. Turkey how are you? Hello Mr. Turkey how are you? With a gobble, gobble, gobble and a wobble, wobble, wobble. Hello Mr. Turkey how are you?" We loved Jacksons Thanksgiving Feast Performance at Stepping Stones Preschool. He was so excited to be an Indian, the morning of he told me he was getting his face painted with war paint. After the Feast I told him that his war paint looked so cool. He then looked upset and told me that it wasn't war paint after all. That is was just his teachers lipstick!

Recent happenings...

Guess what? I dropped my camera yesterday, during the spooky sprint. I was very sad, but once I get looking at my pictures, they are pretty shabby. I was able to replace my camera at Costco & am quite excited about it. Those pics coming soon.

A Day at the Farm

Brayden's speech therapy program had a day at the COS (the local college) agricultural farm. Those little piglets were so cute. We were able to sample their frozen yogurt, each boy received a pretty sweet coloring book & an added bonus...Ty slept the entire time.:)

A little Wii sports competition. It was Dad & Brayden's turn at baseball. Believe it or not, Brayden actually hit the ball a couple of times & he has a pretty mean pitching arm!

6 weeks old

This picture was taken at 10 days old, but I cannot believe it has already been 6 weeks! Our theme right now is to "enjoy." To enjoy this sweet little newborn. Maybe it was Jackson who was extremely colicky, the theme back then was to "survive." :)
Ted just read this and he said if he was picking a theme & writing this post he would say, "Axel Rose said it best...Welcome to the Jungle." :)

The Month of August...

Where do I begin? This past month we have enjoyed... our newborn, my mom, celebrating Hunter & Ted's Birthdays, back to school...Hunter in the 1st grade, Jackson in the 4 year old class at Stepping Stones Preschool..we've enjoyed swimming at the neighbors pool, my boys are not timid, they try back dives, back flips... We took Brayden up to Children's Hospital for an out patient surgery, the procedure was called "an excisional biopsy of scalp masses," he had hard marble size bumps growing on the back of his head. I noticed the first one the beginning of july, two weeks later there were six. They've been removed, they are benign and the Dr. said after viewing the pathology report that everything looks great. Poor little guy Brayden didn't even know what was going to happen as they wheeled him back for the procedure. They gave him a little something:) to calm him right before they wheeled him away, he didn't cry, but his parents sure did. He has dissolvable stitches & you wouldn't notice his incisions unless you looked really close........We've enjoyed Ted's parents visiting, Ted's sister Jenny & family were able to come down for Ty's baby blessing and last but not least we finally visited "Superior Dairy" home of the S.O.S...superior oversized sundae.
