Summer Part 1

We were in Utah from July 20th-August 12th. I thought the boys might start complaining by the end, missing home. But they LOVED EVERY SINGLE DAY! Even the day we walked down to the sno-shack, because the flavors were batman, spongebob, spiderman, etc... the favorite was barbie. They enjoyed going to Lagoon, 24th of July parade, swimming & playing with cousins, dinosaur musuem, they loved Cabelas, $3 movies, boating, wakeboarding, birthday partys, the man-made beach, s'mores, classic skating...etc... I always enjoy Zuppas, the sweet toothfairy, rodworks, craft boutiques and I really appreciated the mountains-they are beautiful.  The boys are already counting down until next year.

We stayed a weekend in St. George with my Dad, Jody and our Families. We rented a house with this amazing pool, where we spent most of our time to cool down from the 110 degree temperature!

The only problem with watching the Summer Olympics, is that everyone thought they were Olympians. Look how nervous I am as my 5 year old flips off the top without a problem. He was pretty good at diving too.

The Dinosaur Museum in Lehi, Utah.

Minion Cupcakes from Despicable Me. Madeline & I made these.
I lost track of how many birthdays we celebrated!!!

Ted's parents who live in Michigan were in town! We had a Haubert Family Reunion Day. We met at BYU Campus & took a tour on golf carts. It was exceptional. The tour was very informational & there were new things to see. We had lunch at the cougar eat, shopped at the book store, then headed to Vivian Park up Provo Canyon for Dinner. The boys were able to fish and play with their cousins. I pulled out the camera when we started to celebrate birthdays with dessert and a huge windstorm came, we had to pack up and head out.

We wanted to Hike Timp Cave but thought we might lose a child over the edge. We have never hiked the Y and thought that would be fun, but never made it over there earlier enough to beat the heat. So we hiked in Pleasant Grove up Battlecreek to this little waterfall. It ended being just right for our crew.
