Indoor Soccer

The boys are on an indoor soccer league through the Nazarene Church. The practices & games are both on Saturday-bonus for us! This may be the boys favorite so far. Hunter is on the Tar Heels & Jackson is on the Hawkeyes, but he calls his team the Hawkey-eyes and then he'll smile.

Action Shot

Jackson warming up with his team. He is crazy about doing jumping jacks, he loves them. He is #10.

Cat Haven

Ted's parents came in town for a week. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday, raced on the race track at the adventure park & went up King's Canyon to Cat Haven. The Jaguar had these piercing eyes, glaring righ at Brayden. Brayden must have looked like a delicious snack. There were squirrels in the grass around us, so you would hear rustling right beind you every so often. There was a time when Ted & I were standing close together looking at the panther, we heard a rustle behind us and we both jumped. I think we were afraid of being eaten..not kidding & not by a squirrel..luckily it was right after lunch and most of the cats were taking a cat nap..ha ha:)

This fella was glaring at Brayden.

St. Patrick's Day

Ted & I pretty much colored everything green, except we held back on the chicken for the Cafe Rio Chicken. It was getting a little out of control.

Basketball

This year Hunter was on the Bulls & Jackson was the Heat. It was classic, I loved watching their games. These pictures are from their last game, which were at the same time at different locations. So as you can tell, I went to Jacksons with Ty & Ted got Brayden at Hunter's game:) But don't you worry there are plenty of pics and video footage!

Hunter the Mighty Husky

I really do love that they play the song, "We're all in this together," from High School Musical, at the assemblies. Ted & I like to sing along and bob our heads back and forth.

Jackson on Abraham Lincoln

So, Jackson has been loving learning about the Presidents of the United States this past week in pre-school. He came home the other day "as" President Lincoln, not Jackson, and he talked in a really deep voice. He told me who he was and asked if I wanted to know how he died. This suprised me a little, but I wanted to know what he would say. He told me that he was shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth (he said the whole name) and he fell over and died. I just kind of looked at him suprised again. And then he told me that George Washington died because he was really, really old. I think I smiled. He is very informative. I wanted to find out more so I asked "President Lincoln"....
(Me) "President Lincoln, what are you the President of exactly?"
(Jackson) "The States."
(Me) "President Lincoln, what do you do?"
(Jackson) "I teach the people."
(Me) "What do you teach the people about?"
(Jackson) "Jesus, President Monson & Temples."
(Me) "Awesome.":)
