Boo-Yah!!!

My New Year's Resolution was to do a 10-week training program for a 1/2 marathon. I could never really picture myself running a 1/2 marathon or actually WANTING to run one. But I thought if I did the training I could lose some baby fat:) The training program was off marathonrookie.com. What caught my eye were the long runs each saturday that gradually built up. I stared at the number "10 miles." I thought that when I completed those runs I would definately blog about it & write "boo-yah" on my blog post & how I completed 10 miles. Well, two of those days came & left, and honestly there was nothing to boo-yah about. Because for me, I am not a long distance runner, anything after 8 miles I am not really too happy about! So I was pretty nervous about this race, but I have to tell you that I REALLY enjoyed the experience! (and knowing I completed my goal & do not have to do long runs again!:)) I LOVED running with 3,000 other people, I loved the gatorade & water tables, I loved the weather, I loved running it with my sister-in-law Jenny, my friend Aundria, & I loved that my boys & Ted were my biggest fans!!!

The Jelly Belly Factory

On the way up to Sacramento we took a detour to Fairfield for the much anticipated Jelly Belly Factory. It smelt delicious...all of that sugary goodness!

Jackson's 3rd Birthday

Pee-Wee T-Ball

Hunter & Jackson are on the same little T-ball team. It is quite comical. They seem to enjoy it. We are happy that Jackson is finally 3 and old enough to sign up for sports and have an outlet for all of his energy!

Spring Break 2010

Day 1- Disneyland
Highlights: Waiting 30 minutes to park in the parking garage, parking in the far end corner of the garage, waiting in line for the elevator with my double stroller, once out of the elevator waiting in line for the restroom, then heading towards the lines for the tram, remembering that my tickets are in my car...back in line for the elevator, up to the far end corner of the garage...you get the point..this all took over an hour, I was in no mood to wait in line for the tram..I put Hunter on top of the stroller, strapped the other two & walked it on into the park, very happy to find family!

Day 2- Huntington Beach
Highlights: Hunter & Jackson were CRAZY about the beach! This was the first time they really played at the beach. They ran back & forth with the waves for a good hour, it was cute to watch.

Day 3- California Adventure
Highlights: In the "Talking with Crush" from finding nemo show, Hunter was picked out of the audience to ask Crush any question he would like. I whispered to him, "Ask him what his favorite ice cream is." And this is what Hunter said.."I like ice cream & my mom has roller skates!" Crush thought he was pretty funny. Crush then came out with a bikini on & asked Hunter if he knew what it was and if Hunter wears one, Hunter replied that he only wears his dinosaur swimsuit...it was cute.

Jackson's birthday is the end of April, Grandma & Grandpa Tilley gave him new awesome Spiderman pajama's & a T-Rex, he LOVED them!

Revision to post "Please be kind"...

...and an eye patch!:)
