Oakland Zoo
The Bay Aquarium
This is heaven on earth for our 2 year old little boy. He LOVES "nemo". He would run down & back through this tunnel saying over & over
San Francisco
How fun is that-San Francisco is 3.5 hours away-piece of cake! Quick trip we left Friday & returned Saturday. Thank you Uncle Brian & Aunt Margaret for your hospitality. Friday-Ted, Myself & the little boys went to Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and the Bay Aquarium. Our favorite part was crossing over the bay bridge & paying the toll. Ted took a red-eye to Florida last week & the toll there was 25 cents. The bay bridge is a little bit different, we had our quarter ready to go because it's supposed to be a quick thing, as we approached the booth, it read $4.00 toll fee. Unfortunately they do not take visa/debit or we would have been in business. After searching our belongings in the trunk we conjured up the toll fee, smiled at the cars behind us & we were on our way. Apparently they do not teach you these things in New Mexico:)

30 years old!!!
This little birthday ensemble was carved out of blueberry pancakes from my very thoughtful & creative husband. I LOVE these flowers!!! Friends over to celebrate, we had grilled chicken & shrimp for dinner & chocolate birthday cake-of course!
Saturday, the day before my birthday we drove up to Fresno to attend the Temple and.....
eat at Macaroni Grill and....
See the Christmas decorations & shops at the RiverPark
Life is good.

Crazy Kids
At the arcade, Hunter's getting the candy he won, if you don't pull him out in time he can crawl right up on in there--scary.At SaveMart they have "customer in training" carts for kids, I'm not sure if that is a good idea
Hunter loves to hide & then jump out & try to scare you
Jackson is pulling himself up onto everything, he's so cute!

Our dog Gus
There have been a few inquiries about our dog Gus. So in tribute to you Gus, here is your story. Ted & I decided upon my completion of nursing school my "prize" could be a puppy. So we drove to Lubbock, Texas to take the NCLEX nursing exam, when it was all over & convincing myself I had failed, our next stop was the Lubbock Mall. What a cute little apricot fluffball in the window, the puppy weighed 1.5 lbs, so tiny & cute. We were not sure what kind of dog it was, when we were told, "a poodle," Ted said, "absolutely not, we are not going to own a poodle." And after a few, "ohhh, but he's so cute, come on look at him, don't you love him already," he was ours:) Gus is now 2.5 years old, he is a minature poodle & weighs 11 lbs. He is a good dog, Ted will NEVER admit that he likes him, but he does. Hunter LOVES Gus, I've never heard him laugh as much as he does when he's playing with Gus. So here's to you Gus, thank you for being an alright little poodle!
